Senior Stars Screening
9:00am - 11:00am
HCMC will offer a Senior Stars Screening to seniors who are members of the 55 and older program or who are interested in becoming members.  Staff will be on hand to provide full lipid panel cholesterol, blood pressure checks, blood glucose, and osteoporosis screenings. Educational materials will be available as well as a review of results with a nurse.  Many of our services will be on hand with booths to provide you with information and services including balance testing, foot care, nutritional counseling, depression screening, hearing screening and more. A light breakfast will also be served after the screening. All is free to the participants who are members or those who would like to register for $10.  This screening free only once a year to each Senior Star Member. This particular screening is for those celebrating birthdays in January, February, and March, but if you missed your yearly screening, you can still attend. HCMC Community Educator and/or Paris and Henry County Healthcare Foundation Chronic Disease Nurse Case Manager will be available to take your blood pressure and discuss the results with you on the first and third Tuesday mornings of each month (schedule could be modified due to holidays). Henry County Office on Aging Talk – Better Breathers Support Group

HCMC will be offering a talk on the Better Breathers Program offered as a support group monthly at the hospital.  Allison Castleman, Project Director for the Paris and Henry County Healthcare Foundation will present. The event is free and open to all seniors. The talk is free to Henry County Office on Aging attendees.

Senior Day at Carroll County Fair

Join us at the Carroll County Fair for Senior Day!  We will be offering osteoporosis screenings and have educational information and give-aways for those attending.  We will be set up at the fairgrounds on Thursday, September 20 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. so be sure to stop by and visit us!
