    Cancer Support Group
    11:30am - 2:00pm
    First Presbyterian Church Fellowship Hall in Paris at 11:30 a.m. The West Cancer Center & Research Institute of Paris, The Healthcare Foundation, and Henry County Medical Center come together to offer a support group for cancer patients and their caregivers every 2nd Thursday of each month. Lunch is provided.     Bright Beginnings Prenatal Class
    1:00pm - 5:00pm
    Preparing for your new bundle of joy is important and HCMC wants to give you a head start by offering free childbirth classes that offer tips on breathing, relaxation and anesthesia options.  Classes are offered on Saturdays and all expectant parents are encouraged to attend sometime after 20 weeks. The HCMC Women's Center is excited to provide these "Mommy Style" classes that will cover the following:
    • Who is going to be here with me?
    • Is what I'm feeling normal?
    • How do I know if I’m in Labor?
    • What should I expect when I am admitted?
    • What are my pain control options?
    • What if I have to have a cesarean section?
    • How do I breathe during contractions?
    • Where will I be when I have this baby?mommy
    • How can I relax?
    • Can we practice that breathing?
    You can call the Find Line at 731-644-3463 for more information. To register, call Rhonda Crossett, Women's Center Director at 731-644-8521. Class will be held in HCMC Classrooms 2 & 3. Class space is limited so call today!

    Blood Pressure Screening at Henry County Office on Aging
    9:30am - 10:00am
    Paris and Henry County Healthcare Foundation Chronic Disease Nurse Case Manager will be available to take your blood pressure and discuss the results with you at the Henry County Office on Aging located at 55 Jones Bend Road Extended in Paris. For more information, call 731-644-8215.

    Our Chronic Disease Management Program offers free screenings including total lipid panel, blood sugar, blood pressure, BMI  and A1c.  If a person has a chronic condition , smokes or is overweight, they can join the program for free. Participants are screened every three months and receive education about their chronic conditions. All patients must be fasting for 8 hours to participate in the screening. Screenings will be done by appointment only to provide social distancing. Masks are required. Screening will be held at HCMC Classrooms 2 & 3 For more information on these screenings, to make an appointment, or to join our Chronic Disease Management program, call 731-644-8215 or email tumstead@hcmc-tn.org.

    Community Health Screening- Farm Bureau
    8:30am - 10:30am
    Our Community Health Screening offers free screenings for blood pressure, osteoporosis, and blood sugar. Total cholesterol along with a full lipid panel screening is available for $10.  All screenings will be performed on-site, using point-of-care fingerstick machines. Results will be available immediately. All patients must be fasting for 6 hours to participate in the screening. Screening will be held at Henry County Farm Bureau on 406 N Poplar Street in Paris.     Masquerade $5 Jewelry and Accessory Sale
    7:00am - 7:00pm
    Thursday, July 14, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Friday, July 15, 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. HCMC Classrooms 2 & 3 The “Masquerade Experience the Frenzy Jewelry and Accessories Sale” will be back on July 14 and 15, 2022. The two-day event will be held at Henry County Medical Center in Classrooms 2 & 3. The company caters only to hospital auxiliary groups across the south and they are experts at showcasing large volumes of accessories, making a win-win proposal to all involved. Cash, checks and credit cards are accepted and 20% of all sales go to the hospital’s Auxiliary.

    Lifeline Blood Drive at HCMC
    9:00am - 4:00pm
    Lifeline Blood Drive Wednesday, August 24th 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. to 4 p.m. HCMC will host a Lifeline blood drive on Wednesday, August 24. Times are 9 am – 11:30 a.m. and 12:30 pm – 4 pm. Please make plans to help out with this blood drive. All donors will receive a free t-shirt! Those giving blood will not be entering HCMC, but can access the Lifeline Bloodmobile off the HCMC Cafeteria Patio.  All registration will occur at the Bloodmobile.
