    Chronic Disease Management Screening- Cancelled
    7:00am - 11:00am
    Our Chronic Disease Management Program offers free screenings including total lipid panel, blood sugar, blood pressure, BMI  and A1c.  If a person has a chronic condition , smokes or is overweight, they can join the program for free. Participants are screened every three months and receive education about their chronic conditions. All patients must be fasting for 8 hours to participate in the screening. Screenings will be done by appointment only to provide social distancing. Masks are required. Screening will be held at HCMC Diagnostic Center Atrium. For more information on these screenings, to make an appointment, or to join our Chronic Disease Management program, call 731-644-8215 or email tumstead@hcmc-tn.org.

    Blood Pressure Checks- Henry County Office on Aging
    9:00am - 10:00am
    HCMC Community Educator and/or Paris and Henry County Healthcare Foundation Chronic Disease Nurse Case Manager will be available to take your blood pressure and discuss the results with you on the first and third Tuesday mornings of each month (schedule could be modified due to holidays). For more information, call the Find Line at 731-644-3463.

    Bright Beginnings Prenatal Class
    1:00pm - 5:00pm
    Preparing for your new bundle of joy is important and HCMC wants to give you a head start by offering free childbirth classes that offer tips on breathing, relaxation and anesthesia options.  Classes are offered on Saturdays and all expectant parents are encouraged to attend sometime after 20 weeks. The HCMC Women's Center is excited to provide these "Mommy Style" classes that will cover the following:
    • Who is going to be here with me?
    • Is what I'm feeling normal?
    • How do I know if I’m in Labor?
    • What should I expect when I am admitted?
    • What are my pain control options?
    • What if I have to have a cesarean section?
    • How do I breathe during contractions?
    • Where will I be when I have this baby?
    • How can I relax?
    • Can we practice that breathing?
    You can call the Find Line at 731-644-3463 for more information. To register, call Rhonda Crossett, Women's Center Director at 731-644-8521. Class will be held in HCMC Classrooms 2 & 3. Class space is limited so call today!

    Community Health Screening- Henry County Farm Bureau
    8:30am - 10:30am
    Our Community Health Screening offers free screenings for blood pressure, osteoporosis, and blood sugar. Total cholesterol along with a full lipid panel screening is available for $10.  All screenings will be performed on-site, using point-of-care fingerstick machines. Results will be available immediately. All patients must be fasting for 6 hours to participate in the screening. Screening will be held at Henry County Farm Bureau on 406 N Poplar Street in Paris.
