Community Health Screening- Henry County Farm Bureau

Our Community Health Screening offers free screenings for blood pressure, osteoporosis, and blood sugar. Total cholesterol along with a full lipid panel screening is available for $10.  All screenings will be performed on-site, using point-of-care fingerstick machines. Results will be available immediately. All patients must be fasting for 6 hours to participate in the screening. Screening will be held at Henry County Farm Bureau on 406 N Poplar Street in Paris. Breast Cancer Awareness Event

As part of its month-long Breast Cancer Awareness campaign, Henry County Medical Center is hosting a special event in October for the women of Henry County and surrounding areas. Instead of staying home and watching Monday Night Football, ladies have an exciting alternative.
On Monday, Oct. 23, HCMC will host Monday Night Mammograms at the HCMC Diagnostic Center from 5:30-7:00. In addition to providing mammograms to those who have received prior approval, all women are encouraged to attend the fun-filled and informative event.
Among those vendors who will be in attendance: Limelife with Becky Cate, Alexandria & Gold Permanent Jewelry, Allibelle’s Plants and Reflexology for the Sole. Healthcare providers from Paris Henry County Clinic and Inspire Women’s Health will also be available for consultations.

All mammograms will require a physician order and insurance approval. Time slots for mammograms are limited. Space is limited so please register by emailing Gina Matlock at glmatlock@hcmc-tn.org. If your regular mammogram is due or you would like to schedule your first screening, please call (731) 644-8486 and request the date you would prefer.

Monday Night Mammograms Events for Breast Cancer Awareness

Mark your calendars for Monday, October 7 and Monday, October 14! These special events will take place at the Diagnostic Center and are designed not only for women scheduled for mammograms but also for anyone looking to join in a fun-filled, informative evening focused on breast cancer awareness.

Eat, Sip, and Shop! The Monday Night Mammograms events will feature shopping, food, and healthcare resources.  Bring your friends, enjoy the atmosphere, and help us celebrate the community while raising awareness about the importance of breast cancer screenings. You don’t need to schedule a mammogram to attend the event!

For those interested in a mammogram, we encourage you to register early, as time slots are limited and require physician approval and insurance clearance. To schedule your mammogram for October 7 or 14, please call (731) 644-8486 for details.
