Paris and Henry County Healthcare Foundation to Host Fifth Annual Casino Night

Paris, TN – The Paris and Henry County Healthcare Foundation will host its fifth annual Casino Night fundraiser at the Paris Convention Center on Saturday, Oct 27, 2018. This event gives all attendees the opportunity to enjoy an evening filled with the lights and excitement of Las Vegas without leaving the quaint town of Henry County.

The Paris and Henry County Healthcare Foundation board members are planning an event that will give party-goers the chance to use “fun money” to play a variety of Las Vegas style games, including Black Jack, Slots, Craps and Roulette. Guests will also have the opportunity to bid on extraordinary prizes in a silent auction.

Last year’s Paris & Henry County Healthcare Foundation raised over $13,000 to improve our growing cardiology services with upgraded processing software capabilities for our Nuclear Medicine machine.  This was much needed thanks to the increased volumes this service has seen.  The specialized software will help process Nuclear Stress test information in half the time it currently takes, assisting in improvement to workflow, patient wait times, and physician satisfaction.

On Saturday, October 27, from 6-11 p.m. at the Paris Convention Center, our community will come together to enjoy an evening of fun, food, and prizes along with a silent auction, all in the name of raising money to benefit much needed improvements in our Emergency Department at Henry County Medical Center.

Every year, our Emergency Department sees approximately 20,000 patients through its doors.  Since the Emergency Department is our “front doors” to care, the Paris & Henry County Healthcare Foundation Board of Directors decided to dedicate fundraising efforts to improving this area for our community.  Improvements will include a new TV, new front doors, painting, new furniture, and other amenities that will help to make the area comfortable for our patients and their families.

“The Healthcare Foundation Board has set the goal of raising $20,000 towards improving this area for our patients, families, and community,” said Michele Atkins, President of the Paris and Henry County Healthcare Foundation.  “That is a goal of $1 per patient that visits our Emergency Department, at great investment for care in our community.  Sponsorships are still available and we encourage businesses to consider donating to this great cause.”

This year’s Royal Flush Sponsor is HAT Law Firm.  Many others are rolling in and we will begin listing them and spotlighting them on our website and FB pages soon.

The Paris & Henry County Healthcare Foundation has continuously provided improvements in care to Henry County Medical Center, the Henry County Healthcare Center, Henry County EMS, and other Ancillary Services.  We ask that you continue to support us so we can provide that “mission of healing” to the community and region.

When you become a sponsor or purchase tickets to attend the 5th Annual Paris & Henry County Healthcare Foundation’s Casino Night on Saturday, October 27, you’re helping Henry County Medical Center offer our community the highest quality of health care, the most innovative technology, right here at home.

To become a sponsor, purchase tickets or for more information, contact the Foundation at 731-644-8266 or by e-mail at tdaughrity@hcmc-tn.org.  Tickets to the event are now online at www.hcmc-tn.org and will soon be available at various locations throughout the community.  Be sure to check out our website for more information.
