Paris, TN – Ellie Kate Wynn was born in the Women’s Center of Henry County Medical Center at 2:41 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 2, 2021, becoming this year’s New Year Baby.

Ellie Kate, the daughter of Nikki and Joseph Wynn of Paris, TN, was born weighing 8 pounds, 13.6 ounces and she was 20 inches long. She was delivered by Dr. Katherine Whitfield of Paris Women’s Center and has three older brothers, ages 10, 6 and 3.

“I had two more weeks before I was supposed to be induced, but the contractions started coming at 11:30 on Friday night and by 2:41 the next morning she was here,” said Nikki, who works at HCMC’s Kentucky Lake Urologic Associates. “This is the first baby we’ve had here (HCMC) and we’ve been very pleased.”
