Henry County Medical Center’s Marketing Department is Honored in 21st Annual Digital Health Awards® Spring 2019 Session and at National Hospital Marketing Southeast

Paris, TN – The Marketing and Public Relations Department at Henry County Medical Center was recently honored by both the Digital Health Awards Program and the Hospital Marketing National Southeast.

HCMC Marketing and PR Department was selected as a winner in 21st annual Digital Health Awards® program. This competition — held each spring and fall — recognizes the world’s best digital health resources.  The Advertising Awards by Hospital Marketing National are designed to showcase exemplary work spanning multiple media and therapeutic disciplines. Segmented by location size, categories may change slightly year to year to reflect the evolution of our industry. Entries are judged by the DTC Perspectives’ editorial and executive teams

Digital Health Awards selected www.choosehcmc.org as a Merit Award winner for Web-based Digital Health, Microsite as well as a Merit Award winner for Digital Health- Social media, Facebook.  Hospital Marketing National Southeast nominated HCMC for both best outdoor/community outreach as well as for best digital/social media campaign and received an honorable mention at the awards ceremony in June for the best digital/social media campaign.

Those involved in the production and design of choosehcmc.org microsite and digital/media campaign were Relevate Health Group and HCMC.  The social media strategies and Facebook platform for HCMC are handled by the HCMC Marketing and PR Department.

Additionally, Tory Daughrity, Director of Marketing and Public Relations, presented at the National Hospital Marketing Southeast conference with Relevate Health Group on Driving Business Results and Health Awareness Through Community Engagement at the annual conference in June.  The presentation outlined how Henry County Medical Center achieved our goal to increase encounters and procedures in the service areas of OB/GYN, Pelvic Health/Urology, and Orthopedics deploying a comprehensive communications, health education, and marketing campaign to increase community awareness with “on ramps” into these services. Our creative “Home is Where…” response-based campaign included digital marketing, direct mail, magazine, eNewsletter, social media, and live events and screenings. These innovative efforts nurtured loyalty and improved access.
