Henry County Medical Center Recognizes the Department Leader of the Quarter

Paris, TN – Henry County Medical Center announced the Department Leader of the Quarter during the January Department Managers’ Meeting. Peggy Jacques, Director of Nursing for Henry County Healthcare Center, received the title and was recognized at the meeting.

Peggy Jacques was recognized as department leader of the quarter for October through December 2016 for her excellent work ethic. She has been instrumental in achieving excellent state surveys, some with no deficiencies. She is dedicated to the organization, staff, and service to others.

In 1974, Jacques began her nursing career in Flint MI, before moving to Tennessee in 1978. She started out working as an LPN for 21 years before returning to college to obtain her RN degree. In 1995 she started working in long term care, and moved to Henry County Home Health in August 2000 as a staff RN. In 2002, she accepted the position of DNS at HCHC. Prior to coming to HCHC, she was the Assistant DNS at Huntington Health and Rehab in Huntington, TN.
