HCMC Women’s Health Advisory Council Raising Funds for Caring Hearts Fund with an Evening of Chocolate Delight

Paris, TN – Join the HCMC Women’s Health Advisory Council and the Paris and Henry County Healthcare Foundation for an evening of Chocolate Heaven as area vendors serve up everything chocolate to raise funds for the Caring Hearts Fund for cancer patients.

An Evening of Chocolate Delight will be held on Tuesday, February 6 from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at the Inman Middle School Gym.  Ticket holders will be able to stroll through each booth and gather their chocolate delights to enjoy with friends at the event or to take home (all ticket holders will receive a to-go container for collecting their goodies). Bottled water will be served as well as some chocolate drinks by some of the vendors.

The Inman Middle School Strings Program will be the entertainment for the evening as well as a silent auction of wonderful items that one and all can bid on.  Door prizes will also be awarded.  This is a great, early Valentine’s Day gift because all women (and men and kids) LOVE chocolate.  Come take your sweetie for some sweet confections.

Cost for a ticket is $10 and tickets are available from HCMC Women’s Health Advisory Council Members, HCMC Pink Petal Gift Shop, Iron Place, and My Favorite Things.  Tickets are limited to 225 guests and once they are gone, there are no more.  Walk ups will only be available if all the tickets are not sold.

The sponsors of this event are the Quota International – Paris, Paris Rotary Club, Kiwanis Kiwanis Club of Paris-Lakeway, Paris-Henry County Healthcare Foundation, Inman Middle School and the HCMC Women’s Health Advisory Council.

“We are so thankful for the continued support of this event,” said Tory Daughrity, Director of Marketing and Public Relations at HCMC.  “This year, we opted to raise funds for the Caring Hearts Fund for cancer patients.  This fund in current months has really been depleted and we want to make sure we can help cancer patients receiving treatment at the Cancer Care Center or here in Outpatient Chemo only have to worry about treatment, not other things that can hinder their improved health.  We are very glad to work with Inman, our Partner in Education, and all of us can’t wait to try all of the chocolate goodies that will be available.  We are very excited this year because we have nearly 20 vendors providing chocolate goodies!”

Those participating in the event and providing chocolate goodies are as follows:

  • A La Mode Sweet Shoppe
  • Matilda Jane Clothing
  • New York Life
  • Youth Villages
  • RG Boutique
  • Rodan and Fields
  • Women’s Health Advisory Council
  • Paris and Henry County Healthcare Foundation
  • My Favorite Things
  • Future Grounds
  • Sally Lanes’s
  • HCMC Iris Café
  • HCMC Women’s Center
  • Carl Perkins Center
  • Sweet Jordan’s
  • Peppers Automotive (Austin Herrera)

HCMC Women’s Health Advisory Council will again have their chocolate fountains to dip goodies in!  The list of amazing chocolate desserts and drinks is long, so come out and enjoy.  Door prizes will be awarded, the Inman Strings will perform, and there will be a silent auction.

The Caring Hearts Fund of the Paris and Henry County Healthcare Foundation assists patients with a financial need to pay for medications, transportation, premiums and co-pays while having treatment in Henry County at either the Cancer Care Center of HCMC Outpatient Chemotherapy.
