Paris, TN – Henry County Medical Center is proud to announce that Cynthia Stigall, Home Health and Hospice, was selected as Director of the Quarter at the May Department Directors’ meeting.

Stigall was recognized by Administration for her determination and accomplishments during her first three years as Director of Home Health and Hospice.  She has faced many challenges including turnover, transitioning to an ERM and billing systems, as well as taking on the billing process for Home Health.  She learned to do most of it herself until she was able to contract with a billing company.  Additionally, Stigall also completed her first JCAHO survey and did remarkably well considering she has never completed this type of survey before.  The surveyors were extremely complimentary of Stigall and her entire staff.  Additionally, Home Health has maintained 100% on their Patient Satisfaction for the past two quarters.

“Cynthia is a hard worker and her staff have great things to say about her leadership,” said Billie McKee, Chief Ancillary Services Officer at HCMC.  “We are glad she is with us and doing an incredible job at Home Health and Hospice.”

Stigall has been a registered nurse since 1987 with a background in several areas of focus including Med/Surg, Critical Care, Emergency Room, Home Health, and Compliance.  She served as the ER Supervisor at Camden General Hospital and made the transition to Home Health in 1994.  She began as a Team Leader and transitioned to Branch Manager and ultimately Administrator.  She has also worked in Compliance.  She became certified in Healthcare Compliance and did compliance in Home Health, Hospice, and Skilled Nursing Facilities.  In 2018, she returned to Home Health and Hospice, taking on the role of Director at HCMC.

“I am so thankful to be a part of Henry County Medical Center,” said Stigall.  “I consider our staff to be the finest group of clinicians that I have ever had the opportunity to work with in my 27 years of Home Health practice.  It is truly an honor to serve in this capacity.”

HCMC recognizes department leaders every quarter as well as selecting a department leader of the year at the annual Service Awards presentation held in September.
