First Baby of 2022 Arrives on January 3

Cutline – Pictured is the New Year Baby for 2022 at Henry County Medical Center, Samuel David Gilbert, with his parents, Bill and Tara Gilbert of Camden, TN.  Samuel was born on January 3 at 4:51 p.m. weighing in at 8 pounds, 1 ounce and 19 inches long.

Paris, TN – Samuel David Gilbert was born at 4:51 p.m. on Monday, January 3, becoming the first baby born at Henry County Medical Center in 2022. Samuel, who is the son of Bill and Tara Gilbert of Camden, TN arrived weighing 8 pounds, 1 ounce and was 19 inches long.

Samuel was delivered by Dr. Paul Locus, OB/GYN and has an older brother who was also born at Henry County Medical Center.

Per tradition, the Gilberts were presented a basket from Henry County Medical Center including baby items and a Wal-Mart gift card for delivering the first baby of the New Year at HCMC.
