April Stars of Excellence Revealed

Paris, TN – Henry County Medical Center is pleased to announce that the Partner of the Month of April in the Stars of Excellence Program is Reba Wadham, Food and Nutrition. Two others were named Star Partners in the program.

Wadham was nominated by her manager for purchasing and bringing in 50 long stem roses to give every patient on Valentine’s Day. Patients were thrilled! Even patients that day said they had never been given flowers for Valentine’s Day. Wadham is a FNS Ambassador and regularly goes above and beyond her job description to ensure her patients are well cared for, happy, and receive excellent customer service. She is a great example of a caring professional who is patient centered.

HCMC also awards Star partners each month. The Star Partners for April are Fay Groves, Food and Nutrition, and Steven Chilcutt, Plant Operations. They were nominated for the following:

  • Groves was nominated by her manager for working extra shifts during a time of extreme short staffing including offering to come in on her days off, work longer hours and double shifts, as well as cross training and working other positions.
  • Chilcutt was nominated by another partner for always responding quickly to work orders and fixing equipment and other issues respectfully and in a timely manner.
