The Clothesline Project

In conjunction with Domestic Violence Awareness Month the community is invited to join together on Monday, October 3, 2022 at the Henry County Courthouse at 5 p.m. for the opening ceremony of The Clothesline Project. HCMC will be there with information and education for Behavioral Health Services.

The Clothesline Project is a social justice art exhibit of t-shirts with messages and illustrations that relate the experience of survivors or honor lives lost due to interpersonal violence. The t-shirts created by individuals in the community hang together on a clothesline as a visual testimony and to raise awareness of violence against women and children.
