The Paris and Henry County Healthcare Foundation will be hosting a FREE virtual Living Well With Chronic Conditions Class.

If you or someone you love has health problems such as diabetes, arthritis, cancer, chronic bronchitis, high blood pressure or other chronic diseases, the Living Well with Chronic Conditions Class can help you take control of your life.

By participating in a six-session workshop, you will learn ways to:

  • Manage your symptoms
  • Communicate better with your doctor, family members and friends
  • Lessen your anger and frustration
  • Fight fatigue and pain
  • Build confidence
  • Manage stress and learn to relax
  • Discover better nutrition and exercise choices
  • Manage medications
  • Get more out of life!

 

Class meets weekly on Thursdays from 10 a.m. until 12 p.m. beginning on Thursday, March 17 for six weeks.  Each participant will receive a FREE book, Living a Healthy Life with Chronic Conditions and a $50 gift card to a local grocery store if attends at least 5 out of the 6 classes. In-person participants will also receive free lunch from the HCMC cafeteria. This class will be offered  online through a virtual link that will be sent to your email address OR in person in the Private Dining Room adjacent to the HCMC cafeteria.
