Laboratory
Henry County Medical Center laboratory is staffed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and offers testing in the disciplines of:
- Hematology/coagulation
- Chemistry
- Urinalysis
- Transfusion services
- Microbiology
- Pathology
Laboratory staff includes medical technologists, medical laboratory technicians, and phlebotomists. A pathologist oversees operations of the laboratory. A pathologist is a medical doctor with specialized training in clinical laboratory services.
Outpatient services are available during all open hours of the lab. Appointments are not necessary. No lab work can be done without a written order from your physician.
