Cancer Care Center
The Cancer Care Center of Henry County, an 8,200-square-foot center, is a $2.2 million project, a joint venture between radiation oncologist William Permenter, M.D., and Henry County Medical Center. Services included at the Cancer Care Center are:
- Three board-certified doctors.
- Medical oncology.
- Radiation.
- Chemotherapy.
- State-of-the-art technology.
The Cancer Center of Henry County is designed to treat the whole patient. According to Dr. Permenter, “With cancer being the catastrophic illness that it is, traveling long distances for treatment places further hardships on patients who require radiation or chemotherapy. With this treatment center’s capabilities, it is not necessary for patients to travel outside the community for their care.”
