Patient Concerns
Henry County Medical Center is committed to providing the best possible care during your stay. We encourage you and your family to ask questions or voice any concerns about patient care and safety to the staff on the unit where you are receiving treatment in order to address it as soon as possible. If you feel your concern has not been resolved or if you are more comfortable talking with someone else, we have a Patient Advocate to assist you with questions, needs, or concerns. You can contact your Patient Representative, Lori Billingsley by calling extension 8268. In the event the Patient Representative is not available, you may leave her a message or contact the Nursing Supervisor at extension 8258. All complaints and concerns are given the utmost attention and courtesy. Your Patient Representative will also gladly receive compliments for any outstanding physician and staff members.
Additionally, another avenue available is our Health Streams telephone survey. You may receive one of these after your discharge. There is also an opportunity for you to provide your personal comments on your care during this survey.
If you believe your concern about the quality of care and/or patient safety has not been resolved through the Patient Representative or Hospital Administration, you may contact:

Volunteers
HCMC Volunteer Auxiliary members are dedicated to serving the patients. They are easily recognizable by their cheery pink smocks. They will direct visitors to your room, deliver flowers and mail, and after you have returned home, they will forward your letters and cards to you.
They are available to assist you with reading or writing a letter and a variety of other services. Should you request the services of a volunteer, your nurse can locate one for you.
